Rana Alhaj Bedar receives "Top Education Award"

Rana Alhaj Bedar, a Graduate Research Assistant in the Mining Engineering Department at the University of Kentucky, received the "Top Education Award" at the NSF-sponsored 2025 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE), held in November 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee. The award was presented as part of the Track 19 Poster Competition, which featured 78 student participants (60 graduate and 18 undergraduate students) and was evaluated by 57 judges from a wide range of engineering disciplines. The Top Education Award recognizes excellence in Engineering Education impact and underscores the significance of her work in advancing educational practices within Mining Engineering field.
